Conservation farming practices has been neglected with the immersion of modern methods and scrabble for limited agricultural space. This has led to loss of biodiversity and soil degradation. Soil humus and microbials has continuously been on the decline. We are currently encouraging farmers to re-invent back to the conservation farming techniques which will enhance both soil humus and increase of microbials.
This will be achieved through minimal soil disturbance, mulching, biodiversity and use of bio-inputs that enhance soil development and create a sustainable environment for micro-organisms activities in the nature. We are therefore working with farmers groups to enhance techniques that are easy to adopt as well as favorable for farmers practices. This will lead to increased farm output, biodiversity and soil health while reducing the cost of production and overreliance on external farm inputs.
